The 7060000-AVE has a divorced design comprising of two major sections:

Servo Motor Drive (upper section).

The upper section is a servo drive motor used to accurately control the speed of
the auger screw and precise degree of rotation in the forward and reverse direction. The user supplied or our own custom control package will allow for easy changes to all parameters that will determine fluid flow rate, shot size, and suck back.

Fluid Section (stainless steel or carbide portion).

The fluid section consists of a luer adapter which acts as the fluid chamber. A
screw type auger fits tightly inside to feed fluid through to the dispense tip. The auger is connected directly to the servo motor and the rate at which it is turned inside the luer adapter will determine fluid flow rate and dispense volume. With little wear between the luer adapter and auger, this valve was originally designed to dispense filled and abrasive pastes and fluids. The fluid section is available in Carbide or Stainless Steel.

The valve requires a control package (IDS or customer supplied) to operate. Fluid is supplied to the valve through the 1/8” FNPT port located on the stainless steel fluid section of the valve. Fluid should be connected such that fluid pressure is supplied to the valve only when the auger is turning and relieved when it stops.

Auger Valves may also be customized, for your mounted application, with an encoder. Our 7060000-AVE Fully Encoded Auger Valve uses a custom motor with encoder feedback. It is too large to be handheld and is used mounted only. This valve is stock but the controller may be a 6-8 week lead time.
