The 5900100 is ideal for low viscosity materials, for micro dot or bead dispensing project. The 5900100 "propels" precise shots of fluid onto a substrate for accurate patterns at high speeds. Compatible with all automated platforms, it has features including: easily interchangeable 22, 25, 27, 28, 30, and 32 gauge tip designs for various dispensing profiles. Micrometer flow adjustment with lock nut valve, dispense with no z-axis motion needed. Divorced valve design prevents contamination of air body.

The 5900100 is a high pressure, front closing stainless steel micro dispense valve designed to apply fluids using a non-contact method. Typical applications include dispensing small dots or lines of low viscosity fluids.

The 5900100 has a divorced design comprising of two major sections:

• Air section (red anodized portion)
• Fluid section (stainless steel portion)

The air section is an aluminum body with a simple piston/cylinder combination used to open and close the valve. A micrometer adjustment in the upper air body controls how far the piston and needle assembly can retract thus regulating the rate of fluid flow.

The micrometer will display a distance that the piston and needle will travel. The fluid section is a stainless steel body, which includes a needle and seat combination to control fluid flow. Fluid dispenses as the needle retracts out of the seat, then stops as the needle moves back into the seat. The micrometer adjustment regulates the distance that the needle can retract out of the seat thus controlling the orifice size and rate of fluid flow. Fluids used typically include low viscosity conformal coatings or under fills.
