The privacy and
protection of our customers and their individual and corporate information is
our highest priority. Information gathering practices for information collected
by IDS are as follow:
The
information you provide IDS is used to:
(1) Deliver only the type of content that is specific to your
requested interests, and related manufacturing and assembly goods and services.
(2) Conscientiously and responsibly improve the convenience and
functionality of the IDS website, catalogs and manuals presented for all who
seek information about assembly dispensing and
any related technologies.
(3) Continue to increase the availability of useful and timely
information about our products for the improvement of the knowledge base and
ability to provide service to all of our representatives and distributors.
We believe
that no data transmission over the internet can be guaranteed to be 100% secure;
we will never ask you to send credit card numbers or banking information over
the internet or through the mail. IDS office personnel will always be
available to take critical information by telephone.
IDS will always
follow standard internet security practices. We employ virus protection
software on all incoming and outgoing emails and on all platforms in order to
protect our customers from a virus attack. IDS will not, however, be liable
for damages or interruptions associated with a virus or other harmful file
migrating from IDS through electronic interchange communication systems to a
customer's information system.
Other than
necessary transmission of information supplied to IDS representatives,
distributors and authorized Original Equipment Manufacturers who need
customer-specific information, IDS will never share, rent or sell information
collected from our customers. IDS will always be happy to sign
Non-Disclosure Agreements to this affect.
IDS will sometimes need to provide specific
information to the above in order to make sure each IDS customer
receives
maximum potential for the most complete array of products and services
available to us.
We require that IDS representatives and distributors, as
well as any OEM partners, maintain any and all customer information in the
strictest strict confidence.
